Our journey: Where every star can shine

Welcome to Sensory Stars, a place born from passion and a belief that everyone deserves to dance, explore, express, and play. Discover our story and what makes us a truly special community.

Firstly, I’d like to introduce myself. I’m Caitlan Dixon I’m 27 and I am a SEND Support Worker with a passion for dance and movement 👥 based in Driffield, East Yorkshire.

My Past Experience:

Support worker for adults and children with complex needs.

Teacher and TA at 2 local SEN schools

Camp Manager for a local holiday camp provider (Sport & Dance)

A Degree in Dance & Drama

Makaton Trained

I am the founder of “Sensory Stars - Dance, Movement and Music”. A fully inclusive dance, movement and music session designed specifically for people who need extra support in a mainstream settings.
